I empower people to take control of their health.
I meet participants wherever they are in their health journey and support them while they work towards their health and happiness goals. Here’s how the process works:
Working with MOBE is easy.
All MOBE meetings are on the phone. During the first few meetings with a participant, we get to know each other and learn about what they want to accomplish. Each person has different needs. Some come with specific goals in mind. Others are in the process of defining their goals. Maybe they’ve just been diagnosed with a chronic condition or they’ve already tried different ways to lose weight—and they don’t know what to work on next.
Once we establish goals, we create a long-term plan for how they can address a problem or make good choices around their health and well-being. Then, we have phone conversations every week or two, where we set weekly goals and encourage them to try new things. Between those meetings, we communicate through the MOBE Health Guide app. When they feel like they’ve achieved their goals, they’re ready to continue on their own without the help of a Guide.
We use a whole-person approach.
We know that health and happiness go hand-in-hand. As a result, we take a whole-person approach. No matter what the participant’s goals are, we look at every component of their lifestyle—from eating habits and physical activity to quality of sleep and how they deal with stress. All of these components have a direct impact on a person’s well-being. We work on seeing how changes in one area of health impact the other areas of their life.
Every MOBE plan is personalized.
MOBE Guides personalize everything to the participant’s needs and goals. When we tailor the solutions to them, they are more successful. Even if a person is dealing with a chronic condition, like diabetes, there are many ways to address the situation. It depends on the variables in their life. Throughout the MOBE process, they get to know themselves better—what drives them and where they need support. The most exciting part is when they realize they have found their inner strength. Then, they can change their work and personal lives for the better in many ways.
I work with my participants to say “YES!”
Part of my personal wellness philosophy is saying “yes” when I’m striving to get the lifestyle I want. And I work with my participants to do the same. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small matter or a big one, it’s just about trying something that might help improve the quality of their lives. I call it, “responding to an invitation to the life you want.” If eating healthier is difficult, what can you try today? It’s OK if it doesn’t work. You still made progress and learned something. There’s always something new to learn about ourselves and what we can achieve. When I empower participants to get to know themselves, they often find what they need to be successful.
Participants also have access to a Pharmacist.
Participants can contact a MOBE Pharmacist on the app or on the phone. Their Guide and Pharmacist work together to support their success. The Pharmacists can help them understand their medications—what they do, how they work, and how they interact with other medications.
The end result: healthier people and healthier companies.
MOBE is proven to help people increase their health and well-being, by helping people take control of their health. Maybe they are using less medication or making fewer visits to the doctor. Either way, they are taking steps toward better outcomes.
Finally, when people are healthier, they are happier in all areas of their lives. Each time a person in an organization has a good experience with a MOBE Guide or Pharmacist, they’re likely to share their experience with others.
As a Guide, I'm humbled by the trust participants have in me.
When I finish my day, I think about how honored I am that participants trust me with their experiences, struggles, goals, and achievements. And I'm so grateful that they allow me to be part of their journey and be a part of helping them create the lifestyle they’re looking to achieve.
