Kathryn Moore joins the MOBE sales organization to connect clients with proven, results-driven solutions to improve people’s health and reduce health care costs.
MINNEAPOLIS, September 29, 2022—MOBE, a health outcomes company focused on improving peoples’ health while reducing health care costs, today announced the expansion of its health plan leadership team, naming Kathryn Moore as Vice President of Sales - Health Plans. Kathryn will report to Kurt Cegielski, Chief Commercial Officer. Since its founding, MOBE has reached more than 100,000 people and saved over $210 million of spend within the health system.
“At MOBE, we share a common goal with health plans to improve health outcomes while also reducing costs. Our solution helps their members achieve improved whole-person health by focusing on nutrition, sleep, movement, medication, and happiness. We’re grateful to have Kathryn onboard to accelerate this progress,” said Cegielski.
MOBE recently announced the appointments of Cegielski as Chief Commercial Officer and Mike Ott as Chief Executive Officer. “MOBE has incredible momentum and has already built an impressive bench of benefits innovators. I’m excited to join the leadership team and eager to bring MOBE’s health guidance to a growing number of clients,” said Moore.
In the role of VP of Sales - Health Plans, Moore will be responsible for growing MOBE’s health plan business and ensuring MOBE delivers exceptional value and client experience. Moore previously held a variety of sales and client success roles at employer-powered health and wellness organizations, including VP of Health Plan Sales at Icario.
By combining data and analytics, MOBE identifies individuals whose health needs are increasing while their health is not improving. MOBE Health Guides and Pharmacists work one-to-one with people, producing better health outcomes and, as a result, reduced costs to the healthcare system.
MOBE was founded in 2014 by health industry veterans who uncovered a way to use deep data science to identify people whose healthcare needs (and costs) are going up, but whose health concerns are not resolved.
MOBE combines this deep data science with digital health and a novel one-to-one, personalized approach—engaging and supporting participants to achieve healthier and happier lives without any additional cost to the health system, employers, or insurers.
