MINNEAPOLIS, October 16, 2023—MOBE is pleased to announce the hiring of Darren Bovie as Senior Vice President, Health Plan Sales. In his role, he will work with health plans across the country on reducing health care utilization costs while driving health outcomes for their members.
With leading-edge data and analytics, MOBE identifies individuals who consistently seek more care but find their health is not improving. MOBE’s Guides and Pharmacists are health professionals who work one-to-one with people, producing better outcomes and, as a result, lower claims costs for health plan sponsors. Unlike many organizations in the health and well-being space, MOBE can guarantee savings for clients, uses a 100% no-risk shared savings financial model, and can prove outcomes.
Darren is a growth-minded, innovative leader with deep experience in the health care industry serving as a key member of senior leadership teams focusing on market expansion and client success. Having served most recently as Vice President, Sales at Simplify Healthcare, Darren consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, significantly contributing to the company's overall revenue for the past several years.
He brings a wealth of experience to MOBE, drawing from several decades in sales for pioneering start-ups like Activate Networks (now Decision Resources Group) and health-tech companies like Pegasystems, where he spearheaded substantial revenue growth.
"We are thrilled to welcome Darren to the MOBE team. His expertise will play a pivotal role in cultivating essential partnerships with health plans, driving MOBE's continued expansion as a trailblazer in the health and well-being industry, with a steadfast commitment to delivering guaranteed financial benefits for our clients," stated Mike Ott, CEO of MOBE.
The sentiment is mutual, and Bovie agreed, “I am excited to represent MOBE in the marketplace and tell its unique story. No other organization is delivering on health and financial outcomes like MOBE. From their impressive data analytics capability to their ability to demonstrate attributable savings—and guarantee savings—they are truly backing up their words. I love this confidence, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
Bovie will collaborate with a growing team of commercial sales professionals at MOBE, engaging with health plan executives and presenting MOBE’s unique approach to achieving both health and financial outcomes for health plan clients.
MOBE was founded in 2014 by health industry veterans who uncovered a way to use deep data science to identify people whose health care needs (and costs) are going up, but whose health concerns are not resolved. MOBE combines this deep data science with digital health and a novel, one-to-one personalized approach–engaging and supporting participants to achieve healthier and happier lives without any additional cost to the health system, employers, or insurers.
